After Heard Robins, she began working with The Toppins Law Firm, P.C., a small business and employment law firm. There, Shakira developed great experience in business, corporate, and employment law. She dealt directly with all client matters, including general business counsel, business start up and business operation training, drafting and revisions of company manuals and company policies, and negotiations with contracts and commercial leases. In addition, she represented business clients in employment matters such as negotiations of employment contracts, offer letters, non-disclosure agreements, and employee severance agreements. Shakira is also a certified mediator. As a certified mediator, she offers clients an alternative to litigation through ADR and mediation.

Myron R. Morales, Of Counsel. Mr. Morales specializes in immigration, emigration and related international law. He has managed accounts for multinational corporations, start-up companies, and private clients.
He began his career in immigration at the Tómas Rivera Policy Institute and later served as a law clerk in the United States District Court. Thereafter, he clerked for the judges of the Executive Office for Immigration Review, Immigration Court. He has mentored with two Past Presidents of the American Immigration Lawyers Association while associated with prestigious firms in Houston, Texas and New York City. Mr. Morales also managed the successful establishment of immigration law firms in Louisville, Kentucky and Austin, Texas.
Mr. Morales has published extensively in the areas of immigration and international law and served as an Articles Editor for Currents International Trade Law Journal and as an Assistant Revisions Editor for Bender's Immigration Law and Policy Desk Book. He has also contributed as a Contract Editor to Bender's Immigration Bulletin and Lexis-Nexis Case Reporter and as a Content Editor for LeapLaw's immigration section.
